Hellblazer - an old friend of Paul Sanders, Hellblazer offers to bankrupt Paul's wealthy father and make both of them both rich in the process. When Paul refuses, he is fired upon with a laser gun, triggering his change into the Man-Monster.

Hypnos - uses his monocle to project a psychic blast that allows him to plant suicidal thoughts in the minds of all of his patients. His goal is a new race of super-men, a world untouched by neurosis. He is defeated when Tiger-man turns the monocle on Hypnos, causing him to plunge to his death.
