What? You actually read them? Why?! You know they're never going to finish the series! NOT IN A MILLION YEARS!!!!!!! AAAAAHHHHH! (choke) !@*$, I think I just swallowed a bug while I was screaming. I've got to go get some water. Bye. :fpalm

I knew the Face Palm smiley :fpalm would come in handy....

Due to a couple private emails I actually posted some art at http://hoopercomicart.blogspot.com/

As for Unified and Atlas comics in general. It now appears that I'm the only one with their books still on a pull list!

DSiamond appear to have the idea that Atlas is dead. I love WULF which has been consistently good but the others I may drop. Seriously, I think new artists need to be pulled in. I really DO NOT want to see Atlas vanish!!

Terry - this quote from your blog is a bit disappointing -

Quote:
addenda:Just tried to post over on the Atlas Archives message board but failed time and again -I get a message that I'm no longer allowed to post there. Whooo. Freedom of speech not working in comics?

This was just a glitch that was cleared up rather quickly. I've NEVER stopped anyone from posting anything negative about Atlas Comics. As long as it is done in good taste, with no personal attacks, please free to criticize away. I've done so myself.

Maybe we'll see new artists with the second set of books. But I suspect you will be seeing Jimbo Salgado art for all 7 issues of Atlas Unified.

I had heard (via Facebook) that Atlas Unified #2 was to appear in June. The Atlas website says May. So March it is.... :fpalm

I love the face palm smiley !

I still can't tell you what was going on and I JUST read it. I almost felt like it was random pieces taken from another book and placed in this one. I am bummed that I had this, "!@*$ moment" ???

I'm not sure that #2 will be any more to your liking then.

Spoiler free: I don't mind when a book tries to put you in the same situation as the character. In other words, THEY don't know what's going on, so neither do you. However in this issue, there is something of an explanation but I don't know that it helped all that much.

I do find it cool that Vicky appears to be a pretty key character. Had I had to guess which one from the original line would get a big "push", she would not have been my choice. It's still not clear how or why she's so important, mind you...

I enjoy it enough though. I'm sure we're not SUPPOSED to have all the answers by now, I just wonder if a) they'll make any sense when we do and b) I'll actually understand them regardless. ;)

Eh. Atlas Unified #3 is part of the July solicitations now.

Presumably it will be available for purchase from the website beforehand, like #2 was.
