So true. And since Jason Goodman and company already have Steve Niles working on Wulf The Barbarian I can only imagine what his (Niles) take on Planet Of Vampires would read and look like! LOL!

If they do an Atlas Presents type of book, that would be a great place to do an occasional cover featuring word balloons as well. :scr

That would be a great place to have word balloon covers. :fh

I was rereading one of the original Atlas books last night, and I thought it would also be cool if they would go back to the original paper they printed those old issues on for this title as well. That would really blow my mind!

Sadly, no Woody no more...how about inks by either Ditko or Jerry Ordway?

Ditko and Ordway would make a great team. I see they worked together once on a Black Lightning backup in the Outsiders v1 #13.

Another inking option would be Rick Altergott who did a fine job channelling Woody over Ditko on Return of the Skyman.

I'd like to see Demon Hunter return next, with someone like JH Williams III, Jim Starlin or Dan Day on art. It would be nice if Rich Buckler could be involved, if only to stop him wasting his time doing bad surrealist paintings.

I liked Starlin's Devil-Slayer cover to Defenders#110.

I would go with Planet of the Vampires I would also it to relaunch and re-introduce characters like Morlock and Ironjaw (and establish this is where Wulf is from too) and use it too spin off a new Ironjaw and Morlock series.

I would also bring back The Destructor, The Brute, Tiger-Man, Devilina, and The Cougar. Followed by one of the anthology titles like Weird Suspense, Tales of Evil, Thrilling Adventures Stories, Weird Tales of the Macabre, or Fright for some of the other characters.

Integrating Planet of Vampires, Iron Jaw, Wulf and Morlock is a great ideal. :win

My idea for an Atlas Universe is similar to the classic Valiant Universe (aka VH-1).

Where you have characters in the past: the Western Characters, the WWII characters, and have legacy or immortal characters (like The Grim Ghost, The Tarantula, The Scorpion, Devilina, Dracula, and the Son of Dracula) they can adventures (or their ancestors or earlier versions of them) with the Western and WWII heroes or each other in different periods in history.

They would also be active and they would exist in the present day with the present day characters The Destructor, The Brute, The Cougar, Tiger-Man, Targitt, Sam Lomax, The Dark Avenger, Phoenix, and the rest.

Then you have a future setting where Vampires have taken over the world and have future versions of The Grim Ghost, The Tarantula, The Scorpion, Devilina, Dracula, Son of Dracula, fighting with or against future heroes like Ironjaw, Wulf, and Morlock.

That is just my :2 however.

I NEED,

NEED, NEEEEED to see the return of The Destructor! I really cared about that character and wanted to see where he was going.

After the Destructor, I'd like to see the return of Targitt.
