Just re-read The Brute 1 - 3 and must admit I actually thought they were pretty good. Could have seen The Brute in a little more action during the issues...but other than that it really felt like it was starting to warm up as the series progressed....NOW, GIVE ME A NEW SERIES!

:blah

I haven't reread them yet but I just picked up a good chunk of the old Atlas line when I was at Mid Ohio Comic Con this past weekend. I'm missing about 20 issues now (all the Vicki's and Grim Ghost). I plan on reading them soon.

There wasn't anyone that had the Zero issues (that I saw) so I'll have to order those from Midtown or wait until my LCS can get them.

I've now reread the Grim Ghost series and Ironjaw. Next up is Phoenix.
By the way, back when I was a kid Ironjaw was my favorite Atlas book, in large part because of Pablo Marcos, but I must admit I ejoyed Grim Ghost more than Ironjaw this time around.

Weird Suspense was one of the few Atlas titles that did not undergo a drastic transformation after a couple of issues. It was a fun read and I enjoyed Pat Boyette's art. Eating the criminals did seem a bit harsh... :wt
