All my Atlas books got ruined in a flood and had to be disposed of, it was a very sad moment, I have been lurking and preying on ebay bargains and have a good collection growing again including some issues I never owned before such as Kid Cody

Sorry to hear about your comics loss, Stevesevera. :(

Glad to know that you are now rebuilding it ("we can rebuild it, we have the technology"...)
:D

The good thing, Cyberstrike...is that there currently ARE plans to reprint the original issues! Plus, fleabay will yield good Atlas crops...just requires patience... :D

I refuse to use eBay because they are forcing buyers and sellers to ONLY use paypal. I don't want to use paypal, I perfer to use money orders. I lost all respect and trust in eBay the second that eBay sent me a message that if me and a seller agreed to use a money order they could sue both of us! I have been thinking of starting a classic Atlas collection through online message boards like this one or Valiantfans (I could also try Seibertron.com a Transformers fansite but they are more Transformers related stuff but they tie a lot details to eBay) , but I have a lot of other hobbies that also required my attention.

Now that are plans for reprints (or TPBs/HC) I'll wait to see how they do that.

I would love to get copies of the B&W magazines though.

Hello guys!!

I have all Atlas 1st issues (comics) and all the 3d issue switches (or whatever issue the switches come in). I only have Devilina #2 on the magazine side. I'm seriously lacking in the mag department.

My goal is to get them all and have them bound in Omnibi!! What fun!!

TEX

I am happy to say I now have a complete set of the Atlas/Seaboard comics, in big part thanks to Phil! I just made a purchase of all the rest of the books I needed at a very good price, and the condition of the books was just mind-blowing to me! Also thanks for the freebies of the new #0 issues. Mission accomplished in terms of getting me excited about Atlas and wanting more! I have none of the magazines, but I guess that will be the next quest, if I can find them at a reasonable price. My next project will be to read the books.

Welcome to the Boards Brother J !!!

Glad I could hook you up with the rest of the issues you needed.

Good luck with your magazine quest. I'd chase after Thrilling Adventure Stories 1 and 2 first as they have the best content.

Have fun reading the Atlas issues! Check back in and let us know what you think.

Phil
