Detective Sam Lomax finds himself lost in a strange world, battling against the barbarian known as Wulf. The two men soon realize that they must put their differences aside in order to survive. They decide to follow the wizard Sanjon thru the portal, not knowing what fate awaits them.

Meanwhile, a dark evil presence haunts the streets of New York City. The wizard Sanjon must provide the Dark Ones with one life for every day that he wishes to live. Sanjon has only a few hours left in the day in order to provide blood for the Dark Ones.

Sanjon takes to the streets of New York City looking for one life to keep him alive on this day. He finds that life, and counless others, in order to stay alive and appease the Dark Ones.

Wulf and Lomax are able to follow Sanjon back to present day New York City, where they quickly dispatch a hostile street gang, much to the amazement of Detective Lomax.

Sensing a disturbance on Earth, Wulf and Lomax will attempt to undo the wrongs caused by Sanjon and the Dark Ones.
